Group Meeting & Visual Idea Contemplation
Session Notes After briefly meeting Paul Hazel my project mentor I needed to collect my thoughts and return back to the dreamscape project. Since I had left my ideas for the scenes floating in the ocean for some time. Furthermore, remembering Paul's advice and my own on making most of the scenes grounded and somewhat relatable I have decided to focus on using entrapment as my visual representation for lucid nightmares. Furthermore, the consensus reality scene I created with a group of people staring on their phones will now feature a hand-drawn character will loo towards the passengers engrossed within their book or phones and will attempt to talk to them. After searching through various media such as the internet, magazines, newspapers and books I began to found various artists such as Marty Cooper a cartoonist who placed his cartoon characters in real-life environment and scenarios.
